Jack Hood Vaughn (b. August 18, 1920, Lame Deer, MT–d. October 29, 2012, Tuscon, AZ) was an ambassador, assistant Secretary of State, and Director of the Peace Corps. He graduated from the University of Michigan with a BA (1943) and an MA (1947); he also taught there and was the head boxing coach. He was also a professional boxer.
